Earlier this year during BEA & BookCon the WNDB team, supporters, and many others joined at a celebration at La Casa Azul Bookstore that was a dream! Sadly, La Casa Azul will be closing it’s doors in East Harlem on Saturday, December 19th but will reopen with a new plan and a next chapter.
Customers who shop at La Casa Azul on Saturday will receive a 25% discount!
Everyone at WNDB is super thankful for the work Aurora Anaya-Cerda and everyone at La Casa Azul has done to support marginalized voices in literature for children, teens, and adults! La Casa Azul is a great community bookstore and we all look forward to the new vision Aurora will bring to it and seeing her at many events in the near future!
